Some of the most influential people today are people that never tried to get influence. The most admired people, the people that shape global opinion, are people that didn’t try to do that. Mother Teresa is a perfect example of that. The people that the world admires the most, are people that have no personal ambition – they just don’t care about themselves. So, this is important for us leaders to understand. We need to be very clear. We just love people, we just do what’s good, we just please our God, we humble ourselves under the hand of our Mighty God, and he exalts us at the proper time. It’s always going lower. Whenever there’s a problem the answer is going lower.
Hope in the Wilderness
I just got completely wrecked by the Holy Spirit in the best way possible…
All I can think of is 2 Corinthians 12 when Paul talks about having an out of body experience that He cant really explain. Maybe it was just thoughts in my head but I know it was a gift from God none the less.
I just spent the past hour or so worshiping my Daddy God by dancing, singing, and crying out to Him in my prayer language. I think it was one of the most intimate experiences I’ve ever shared with Christ and it happened out of no where. I just got back home from my 15th summer of going to my church camp. It was an amazing week watching young souls being surrendered and as always it came with great testimonies and time spent with friends. I wasn’t expecting more and He still poured out His Spirit over me so strongly just now.
He shared with me the most incredible image. There were people that stretched out for miles that seemed to go on forever. We sat in what looked like a desert. Most people seemed tired and exhausted, sitting with their faces in their hands. Others were completely asleep, as if they had been that way for years.
